Colorful food

.
Thank you so much for your feedback on the last post:) I will take time to answer some of you later as well!

I don't think any of you mentioned food, but most of you wanted variety. This is a really foody post, it just happened to be that way which also suits good since I have to cook now and then go to work.

The perfect spring snack, fruit salad!

I love this food. It's easy to make as well. You just fry chicken and then mix it with pasta, cottage cheese, vegetables, leeks and sweet chili sauce and you eat it cold, yum!

Picture that?

.
Okay, girls (I don't think I have any male readers?!). I need a little help from you. I wonder what kind of pictures you like best in this blog. Is it pictures of outfits, shopping, everyday life or my pink things? You know that I post a combination of everything anyway, but what do you want me to do the most? Is anything missing? I would really appreciate it if you answer, sweethearts :)

Hey good looking, what you got cooking? I got this kettle as a gift.

Coffee time! I normally don't drink instant coffee but I don't have a coffee machine here.

My suitcase constantly reminds me that Stockholm is not my home, I'm not here to stay.

I got a workout t-shirt from my mum. I better start running now.

Giddy up, giddy up, let’s go, let’s look at the snow – or ice

.
I went riding again yesterday. It was so fun, I really need to continue with that. It was a bit icy though so we had to take it pretty slow.

The day before I went to buy new riding clothes. I haven't found my old riding pants since I don't know if they're at my mum's, my dad's or my apartment so I got new ones and some other stuff.

I found pink riding socks.

...and white gloves, not so good I know!

Ready! Or actually, I have to disappoint you, in reality I looked lite this:

I went outside of Stockholm in a cute little train like this.

At the ranch.

I had to wait for the train home, but the weather was great so it wasn't that bad.

Kawaii heaven - a small piece of it

.
When I walked into a science fiction bookstore I got so happy. They sold japanese girl magazines! I've been looking at bloggers who have them and been wanting to get some for myself as well. I haven't bothered to order any and I didn't know they sell them in Stockholm.

I only bought one this time, since they are very expensive. The one I got is called Kera, heard of it? Of course I don't understand a word of it but it's so fun to look at the pics!

The store also sold a lot of manga. I used to read that when I was younger but I'm not really that into comics any more. But if you know any good ones feel free to tell me!

Oh, I also might have really exciting news to tell you, but I have to wait a bit until I know for certain.

Me with the bag:)

Little white riding hood

.
In my last order from Yes Style I got the most fabulous white cape ever! I can't wait for it to get a bit warmer outside so that I can wear it.

An amazing historic day that I will always remember!

.
Man, what a day this has been! Actually it started already yesterday. You know, I was just about to go out and do that shopping when my phone ringed and it was from work. They needed someone to come in since one person was sick, so of course I said yes, I even got extra paid.

It sure is something that I don't regret. Everything was going on just normal until around 1AM when someone at the newspaper shouted "Victoria is at the hospital - it's confirmed!". Victoria is our crown princess and she has been pregnant and everybody has been talking about when it's time, and apparently it was this night, and she gave birth to a healthy baby princess at 4 o'clock.

Imagine working at one the biggest tabloids in Sweden at this moment, probably the biggest happening this year. It was crazy - but so much fun to see. They started to send out reporters and photographers, they had to remake the whole newspaper (it was close to deadline already). I will always remember this day, especially sine I was one of the first to find out.

I have actually met the crown princess once. She came to my hometown when I was a child. My friend brought her flowers but she didn't dare to give them so I did it instead :)

This was my crazy work day (the first ones are mobile pics):

On my way from the subway I stopped by to buy a latte, no cupcakes though :/

Yucky food at work this day:p

A friend of mine from the North has been working here too, but this was his last day so he brought lots of candy!

This is me on my way home, a bit tired after everything. One minute after this pic was taken the new princess was born!

The whole morning I have just been watching the news about the girl that will become queen of Sweden one day. I slept for only a few hours and then I went to the city to finally do some shopping, but I also took some pictures. These are from the area "the Old Town" where the big castle is.

"04.26 It's a girl" and "Congratulations, it's a princess".

And I thought I came to heaven when I walked into one store and saw what they had. Iiih, I'll tell you later!

Sometimes I pretend to be normal...

.
Today I'm finally going to do that shopping I have been talking about for ages. I'm also going to wear my hooded scarf for the first time, and see if people will laugh at me or smile at me. Here in Stockholm everybody just dresses in black which I think is super boring. It looks like they are going to a funeral or something.

It's funny how people really look at me when I come there all pink. I especially remember one time at the train. A woman was staring at me the whole trip, just smiling the whole time. A little weird, but at least I made her happy I guess. Children also love to look at me, maybe they are jealous about my clothes ha ha.

Well, I'll tell you about the reactions later when I have seen them!

Looking back - and forward

.
So I've been working again and now I'm off for four days. I never get used to having so many days off, even though they sure are needed since it takes a lot of effort to work at a newspapers at nights. Do you remember last year when I was always busy? I wonder how I was able to handle that. I went to school full time, worked as a recruitment leader for an au pair company at the same time that I was working at a newspaper as a reporter and a news designer. Crazy!

A random pic from when I was sick and just stared at the roof ;)

Me at 4AM. I had my Twins baseball shirt on me at work one day. It sure gave me some extra power!

I'm thinking about buying this bracelet from Mulberry. It costs about 100 Euro.

I bought this map from Yes Style. It's really nice, but for me it's the wrong way, America is "supposed" to be on the left side :D

Speaking of Minnesota. I'm just about to take one step closer to Minneapolis...;)

I love this picture that I have taken in Minneapolis. Even though it's not that much edited it almost looks like a painting!
