I did a review of one of the biggest artists in Sweden today. I was a little dissapointed, I thought he would be even better. Of course I wrote that in my review as well so I might upset some of the 50.000+ readers. I even wrote for two newspapers today.
I'm not totally comfortable doing reviews. I have learned that you you're not allowed to write personal thoughts in articles what so ever as a journalist. With reviews it's the opposite. I only write what I think, even though I try to take into consideration how the audience reacts.
I visited the same arena last week, but it was hockey then.

That must be a pretty difficult predicament to be in! I used to be more concerned about how other people felt, how I could appease them and whatnot. I'm STILL like this, but when it comes to my blog... well, it's mine! I reserve the right to say how I feel because of that fact alone. Just like how your article is YOUR article and it's your job to write a review based on YOUR personal thoughts. Maybe some people aren't going to like it, but I'm sure there will be a lot more people who do like it!
ReplyDeleteI think being honest can be a great advantage for you, good luck!:D
