Tomorrow is my last day at work before I go back to school. It's a little sad, but it's good too since I get to spend some more time with my friends. I wouldn't mind to go and play mini golf!
Oops, I missed!
Now I'm gonna go and see if I find strawberries to buy!
I'm exhausted and it's probably gonna end with me falling asleep for an hour or two. What I really need to do is to write a letter to a friend in Ireland. I miss Ireland, there's something magical about that country.
You know how I always complain about how many scrapbooking things I got but that I never use them? I still haven't done a single scrapbook page in ages. I guess I hate the mess about it...
How my American room looked like when I was doing some scrapbooking
I'm satisfied with my life here in my country. My school is wonderful, I love the job I'm doing and I have the perfect pink apartment. But still everything is not as it should be. It doesn't go a day without me thinking about moving back to Minneapolis. I'm terrified of realizing when I'm 60 years old that I didn't live my life the way I wanted. But am I willing to sacrifice everything for this?
And then it's Friday again. It's been a busy week and it will continue. I'm picking up my mum and my stepdad at the airport tomorrow and driving them to my hometown 200 kilometers away. They have been in Thailand and do you know what? They are bringing some headbands to me, can't wait to see them!
I went home for lunch today to eat. Too bad I don't have any pink porridge left as a dessert. Maybe I could give you the recipe later if I manage to translate it. One of the ingredients is lingonberry, which can be found at Ikea.
Even though I'm longing for summer I really like winter too. Blue sky, white snow and sun, can it get any better? This is how it once looked like when I was visiting my hometown.
As you see I have changed the blog layout. The main reason was that the old header was all messed up for widescreen users. I liked my old design, but this is a little more classy.
Just before I moved from the States I went on a tour to the westcoast. I thought I could share some pictures with you from that trip...and to remind myself that summer will come here too, in like three months;)
This was my view everyday for breakfast, if you look closely you can see the stars on the street
No wonder my iPod didn't feel so well after this
I wonder how many celebrities have been to this one?
I'm a Swedish and Norwegian girl living in the northern parts of Sweden even though I'm always on my way somewhere. Airports are my second home, or actually my seventh home since I live in different places.
Minnesota has a special place in my heart. I used to live there for one year and I fell in love with the people and the cities. One day I will move back.
I think life is too short to only dream about the things you want to do - do them instead!
Right now I live in Sweden and I work as a newspaper designer.
