All about me

I did a review of one of the biggest artists in Sweden today. I was a little dissapointed, I thought he would be even better. Of course I wrote that in my review as well so I might upset some of the 50.000+ readers. I even wrote for two newspapers today.

I'm not totally comfortable doing reviews. I have learned that you you're not allowed to write personal thoughts in articles what so ever as a journalist. With reviews it's the opposite. I only write what I think, even though I try to take into consideration how the audience reacts.

I visited the same arena last week, but it was hockey then.

You know what I say

I'm not really in the need of new sneakers since it's almost winter here. When I saw these and tried them on I just had to buy them, no matter what. They weren't exactly cheap either...but they are pink.

Belgium here I come...

I don't think I have told you, but I'm going to Brussels on November 14th with my classmates. We will be there for almost a week exploring the city and visiting the European Parliament.

Q & A

A while ago you asked me some questions, and finally, here are the answers:) Some of you asked me about my clothes as well, and I'm going to make a separate post about that.

If you could live in any place in the world, where would you live?
In Minneapolis in the USA. I'm actually thinking about moving there, but there are so many things I have to sacrifice if I do. I will have to leave my family, my jobs and pay a lot of money to study there. I would probably already live there if it wasn't for school. I only have less than a year left of school in Sweden, so I'm not going before I'm done.

Just general information. Age? Favorites?
Age: 21. Favorites? Oh...that depends on what kind of favorites. I don't think I have to mention my fave color though;) My favorite tv show is Road Wars, a brittish reality programme about the Thames Valley police. Favorite book: maybe the Harry Potter books, or a Swedish one based on a true story called "The Laser man".

How did you get the job at the newspaper?
I started five years ago as a freelancer for the newspaper I work for, and then I did it together with a friend that is a photographer. We went to the takeouts for Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, but we also did interviews with Swedish celebrities when they came to our town.

Except for that I was on a paid internship this spring, and after that I was offered a job as an editor during this summer. I was supposed to only work for five weeks, but it ended with me working for over two months, both as an editor but also as a reporter and photographer. Now that I'm back in school again I mostly work for the entertainment pages. I do reviews about shows and concerts that come to the bigger cities in my area.

How do you keep so fit? Do you follow a special diet or exercise a lot?
I take the car everywhere. I eat a lot of candy. I don't really like vegetables. I love chocolate. I bought a bike this summer for about 300 Euros, that I don't use. That's how I keep so "fit" ;) But I'm actually going to buy a gym membership today.

I usually don't become friends with people on Facebook that I don't know, but I might do an exception for you Mrs. Kolca, since your so sweet!

Where do you find inspirations for your posts?
If I see something pink, I take a picture of it. Usually it means that I take pictures of my things or myself;)

What you like to do in your free time? 
I don't have a lot of free time, since I have two jobs and I go to school. But I'm going to try to get a better structure of my life so that I have time to do all the things I want. Right now I actually enjoy hanging out with the boys in my class. They are sport geeks so that means I watch a lot of hockey and listen to them talking about drafts and other things that I try to understand.

What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Asian food. I love chicken and spicy food!

What place do you love the most?
This is the hardest thing about my life, I have so many homes! I love a small city called Alta in Norway, I love Minneapolis and I love my hometown in Sweden.

How do you describe yourself?
Like a girl that does whatever she wants to. I just don't dream about what I could do, I do it!

Your Drowning- Last Wish?
That I feel satisfied with everything I have done in my life.
